Andreas Veithen commented on SYNAPSE-552:

+1

Currently SYNAPSE-549 is only a proposal and I didn't start working on it yet. Anyway it would
only be in scope for the next release after 1.3, so you should go ahead and implement a simple
property based approach for Synapse 1.3. I think it is actually a must-have for 1.3, because
otherwise the feature implemented in SYNAPSE-525 would be incomplete.

> With SYNAPSE-525 a new property was introduced to make removal of addressing headers
configurable. The change has been made in the Axis2FlexibleMEPClient and thus effects all
the messages forwarded via the ESB. However the Axis2Sender#sendBack() hasn't been updated
and therefore the property has no effect on response messages routing through Synapse. Ideally
we need to be able to configure removal of addressing headers in response messages as well.
