FWIW I don't consider YOUR email counterproductive.
Let's stop discussing the incivility and move on
to more productive discussions, like how svn.apache.org
behaves right now towards incubating projects.
If compelling evidence presents itself that my module
breaks essential features of svn, I'll be the first
one to remove it from service.  But really, I can't
be the only person on this list interested in interrogating
the server before offering an opinion- that makes for
lots of useless banter that doesn't move the ball
forward IMO.
