If it doesn't work, what happens?  Do you get an exception?  What do you
see when you "view source" the output?  In place of '<c:out
value="${ListItem.key}"/>', do you see nothing, '<c:out
value="${ListItem.key}"/>', '${ListItem.key}', or something else?
