I would encourage people to look for an architecture that maximizes a
use of the Strategy Design Pattern:

public class DefaultSomeInterface implements SomeInterface {
    private Helper helper;

    public void setHelper(Helper helper) {
        this.helper = helper;

    public void doStuff() {
         String value = helper.addOrSomething(args);
