In your WEB-INF/web.xml file, you need to add the following entries:

	<servlet>
		<servlet-name>news</servlet-name>
		<jsp-file>/pages/news/index.jsp</jsp-file>
	</servlet><servlet>
		<servlet-name>bites</servlet-name>
		<jsp-file>/pages/bites/index.jsp</jsp-file>
	</servlet>
	<servlet-mapping>
		<servlet-name>news</servlet-name>
		<url-pattern>/news</url-pattern>
	</servlet-mapping>
	<servlet-mapping>
		<servlet-name>bites</servlet-name>
		<url-pattern>/bites</url-pattern>
	</servlet-mapping>

This is a J2EE configuration issue and you should refer to the J2EE
specification for details of these tags or alternatively, check out the
web.xml DTD at http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-app_2_2.dtd.
