[~habajwa], thank you, I analyzed ognl and found out that it seems there are only two places that change target: 1. ognl.ASTChain.setValueBody and 2. ognl.ASTEval.setValueBody. So after `target = ...` line, please put a conditional breakpoint (condition should be target==null) and see and say us what is the value of `_children[i]` or `_children[1]` respectively.
