Subject [jira] Resolved: (WW-1260) Quickstart does not work well with DWR

Rainer Hermanns resolved WW-1260:
---------------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Problem

Just had a look at this. It's not a webwork bug, but a misconfigured usage of DWR calling
an action.
If you want webwork to deliver a result for your ajax components, you should call the action
directly
and evaluate the returned result. It might be useful to create a new JSONResult or XMLResult,
that
returns the required structure.

I am closing this issue now, since it is not a problem related to webwork.
If you need further advice on this feel free to post to the list or forums.

> Copied over the 'blank' example from the 2.2.2-RC1 version. Added DWR configured to access
HomeAction. Ran QuickStart. When I access http://127.0.0.1:8080/blank/dwr I get errors reported
to command line stating that the HomeAction class can not be found. I will attach to the report
the minimal code that allows for reproduction of this error.
