I expect the -sources.jar would also do, since that's what we were using with the snapshot. I could try checking out the tag and building it myself, but we really should get it up in the repository so other people could assemble this too. Also, I've lost rack of where I downloaded the XWork distribution. The link on the wiki * http://wiki.opensymphony.com/display/XW/XWork2 points to the XWork 1 downloads. I found the right place the other day, but now I've lost it again.
