Implementing this seems more trouble than it is worth.  There are just too many
"what about" scenarios.  You will find yourself almost doubling the number of
attributes for eash tag in the html tag library.

You might have better luck writing this as a custom taglib.  

I don't mean to break your spirit, we gladly accept code patches in "diff -u"
format ;)
