Subject RE: PATCHES: Support for indexed properties in struts tags
Date Thu, 03 Aug 2000 22:09:49 GMT
Hit the wrong entry in the address book...

The index could be supplied to a tag via an index attribute, this
certainly would be a cleaner implementation. I didn't spend much
time on making the struts tags work with the indexed properties, I
actually have a custom tag that needs to specify an indexed property
in a manner that would be picked up by the BeanUtils populator. I
don't see any other way to specify index in a manner that the browser
can support.

Cheers

Surely this should be put in struts-dev?

I would have also thought that a better way would be to add a new property
called "index"?
