Subject [jira] Resolved: (STDCXX-685) [Windows] slashes in Windows pathnames in build logs

Travis Vitek resolved STDCXX-685.
---------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

It appears that the slashes are not coming from our scripts, and I don't really see anything
we can do about it I suppose we could write a script to modify the build log after the build
has run. It would search for any non-whitespace character followed by a slash and then replace
that with a the non-ws character and a backslash.

Honestly, I don't see the value there. As long as the backslashes are not causing any trouble,
they should be allowed to stay.

> The Windows build logs are mixing slashes and backclashes in pathnames when linking library
objects (see below). We should be consistent and use the same path separator everywhere.
