Subject [jira] Commented: (STDCXX-803) [MSVC] error on std::bitset ctor in 23.bitset.cpp

Martin Sebor commented on STDCXX-803:
-------------------------------------

Hmm. Another problem due to Windows/MSVC non-conformance.

Making {{bitset}} work with {{long long}} might be useful enhancement but one that we should
probably not attempt in 4.2.1.

I suggest casting the argument to {{unsigned long}} in the test to fix this issue and opening
an enhancement for the {{long long}} (or {{size_t}} on Windows) case.

> In stdcxx 4.2.0 as well as on the head of trunk, the test [23.bitset|http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/stdcxx/trunk/tests/containers/23.bitset.cpp]
fails to compile with both MSVC 8.0 and 9.0 with errors similar to the one below.
