Thanks for the patch! I've tested it with gcc 4.3 on Linux/x86_64 and Sun C++ 5.9/Solaris
10/SPARC by running all tests with no obvious problems. If you tested it on at least one other
platform please go ahead and commit it after correcting the few minor formatting issues (missing
space before open paren and the {{else}} keyword following a closing brace).
