The naming of these attachments, and their lack of relevance to the 
(closed) issue leads me to believe that the user who made these 
attachments is a spammer.

I have deleted the attachments (perhaps prematurely), but I'm not 
certain what other steps should be taken to deal with this user.

Martin (or any of our mentors), can you provide any thoughts on what 
steps should be taken next - and what the correct course of action on my 
part would have been?
