   1. After double-checking that all issues scheduled to be resolved in this release of the project have been resolved, release this version of the project on the [http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/project/ManageVersions.jspa?pid=12310070 Manage Versions] screen in Jira.
   1. With the tarball uploaded and accessible from the web (it might take an hour or more for the files to become visible) update the [http://stdcxx.apache.org/download.html Download] page with links pointing to the tarball containing the release, the MD5 sum, and the [VOTE RESULT] thread in the archives. The following [http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=652588 commit] shows how to update the Downloads page.
   1. When the Download page is updated and the updates are visible on the web, using your Apache email account post an announcement about the release on [http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/stdcxx-dev/ dev@stdcxx.apache.org], [http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/stdcxx-user user@stdcxx.apache.org], [http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/www-announce/ announce@apache.org], and on major usenet groups including [http://groups.google.com/group/comp.std.c++ comp.std.c++], [http://groups.google.com/group/comp.lang.c++ comp.lang.c++], and [http://groups.google.com/group/comp.lang.c++.moderated comp.lang.c++.moderated].
