BTW - I think if MapR wants to have a customized shuffle, the direction proposed in this patch
is probably not the best way to do it. It would make more sense to implement a DFS-based shuffle
using the new pluggable shuffle API. I.e. a shuffle that communicates through the filesystem
rather than doing transfers through Spark.
