Sean Owen commented on SPARK-4840:
----------------------------------

Is that specific to your environment? For example I know our cluster puts all Kafka ZK stuff
under a /kafka chroot in ZK, but that's not required by Kafka. My question may be ignorant
as I do not know Mesos, maybe it's always in this chroot.

>                 Key: SPARK-4840
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-4840
>             Project: Spark
>          Issue Type: Bug
>          Components: Documentation
>    Affects Versions: 1.1.0
>            Reporter: Sam Stoelinga
>            Priority: Minor
>
> in paragraph Using a Mesos Master URL.
> there is the current sentence: "or mesos://zk://host:2181 for a multi-master Mesos cluster
using ZooKeeper."
> this should be "or mesos://zk://host:2181/mesos for a multi-master Mesos cluster using
ZooKeeper."
> If you don't add mesos to the end of the url spark-shell wouldn't start for me.
