Yes, sounds good to me, +1 :)

But :) what about using per bundle namespaces - currently we have the
namespace http://sling.apache.org/event/1.0 for the event bundle, so
according to your suggestion this would be
http://sling.apache.org/jcr/sling/1.0 instead, right?
