Maven aware IDEs (think Eclipse or IDEA) would be able to automatically download sources and show javadocs. User would not have to download and bind sources to project separately. 

Those who do not use IDEs would be able to use mvn eclipse:eclipse -DdownloadSources command to get the same thing.
