Subject Re: Getting An Emulation Component To Run
Date Thu, 04 Oct 2018 07:42:51 GMT
The first thing to do is run the app in a debugger to see if you get exception indicating a
point of failure. A fair number of components are working well enough for TourDeFlex to work.
Many times it will be a simple fix to one of the components that already runs in TourDeFlex.
If it is related to RemoteObject or Resources, try to comment out the code that is failing
until we get further on getting those to run. Same for Charts. I think we will try fully
porting the Chart code. If the component isn’t RemoteObject, Resources or Charts and is
not running in TourDeFlex, then yes, try following that wiki article.

Subject: Getting An Emulation Component To Run

90% files of our Apache Royale Application is compiled successfully. But it shows nothing
in output.
Should we follow<>
for our every emulated mx & spark Component? It will be enough to show our application
as flex output?

Is any other guidance for us (Pashmina , Mujtaba & me) before working on it.
