Subject Serving static content from Apache frontends
Date Thu, 20 Mar 2008 10:11:44 GMT

We would like to serve static content (e.g. pictures, css, js, etc) from
our Apache 2 frontends, but the Roller-internal resource-rewrites makes
it hard for us.
Does anyone have a working solution? Here is what we have come up with so

ProxyPreserveHost On
RewriteEngine on

RewriteRule ^/([\w.-]+)/page/css/(.*).css$ /themes/$2/css/$2.css
RewriteRule ^/([\w.-]+)/resource/(.*)$ /resources/$1/$2

RewriteRule ^.*\.(gif|jpg|jpeg|png|bmp|ico|js|css)$ - [L]

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} (.*)
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://resin:9002$1 [L,P]
ProxyPassReverse / http://resin:9002/

Why are these rewrites made in the first place?
