I've started by modifying the build script to sign jar files, for the new c=
ode signing certificate from Symantec.=0A=0AI've been somewhat time poor la=
tely, but am progressing.=0A=0AI will have some new release candidates in t=
he near future.=0A=0AWhile in the short term this will probably be consider=
ed a beta release, in the longer term it pays down technical debt in updati=
ng the codebase to Java's current memory model, no longer will minor change=
s uncover latent race conditions, the code is no longer brittle. =C2=A0=0A=
=0ANext steps are to allow and encourage interested developers to make impr=
ovements. =C2=A0Without change, evolution cannot function and extinction be=
