Julia commented on REEF-1407:
-----------------------------

For b), when you send close event, you need to keep IRunningTaks, current driver doesn't keep
IRunning tasks and even doesn't have IRunning task observer registered. The new IMRU driver
already set up all those mechanism and the code has been send for review. If you add all those
in old IMRU driver, it will be discard anyway.
A way to break it is to update IMRU tasks, write test case to test the change. At IMRU driver
side, apply the change on top of new IMRUDriver.
To avoid conflict, I can also take the work and apply the change on REEF-1251. Your change
need to use the new driver to test anyway.

> Currently when a task fails, other tasks in the group are stuck in reading data by a
blocking call. We should be able to try and throw an exception and propagate the exception
to Task so that the task can handle it in a proper way.
