I tested the binary release archives for the Java clients and broker by
using the Hello examples, used the brokers web management UI and
additionally connected to it with JConsole, and finally verified that the
expected dependencies were downloaded for each of the client + broker maven
artifacts.

The maven bits are staged at:
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapacheqpid-1000/

I had to make a small tweak earlier to actually stage them. It isnt a
reason to respin as it only affects the publishing step, but if something
else warrants that then we should include it:
