Is it possible to create an embedded Java Broker with Qpid?

With Apache ActiveMQ, I create an embedded broker in my Java server
application like this:

BrokerService broker = new BrokerService();

// configure the broker
broker.addConnector("tcp://localhost:61616");

broker.start();
