It works, thanks.

However, it seems a bit weird that the broker takes on itself to create the Database (I'm
not talking about the tables). I think there should be a way  to initialize a database that
was created manually.

Hmmm... Your SQL version is ok. Can you try deleting the QpidStore
database from the SQL Management studio and then re-run the broker? That
is, if you don't have anything important in the store.
