Subject What does clientid mean?
Date Tue, 24 Aug 2010 09:06:58 GMT

I found that when using Java JMS api to declare a queue, it requires a
clientid value like below:

connectionfactory.qpidConnectionfactory =
amqp://guest:guest@clientid/test?brokerlist='tcp://localhost:5672'

I wander what the clientid mean. I didn't find this value in AMQP spec 1.0.
What is it used for?

thanks,
