You need to load a durability module... I'll update the wiki and provide 
the link later today...

Basically, you can get one from here for Linux
svn co  https://svn.jboss.org/repos/rhmessaging/store/trunk/cpp

and bootstap, configure, make...

then to load the module

qpidd --load-module store.so
