Subject Re: [jira] [Commented] (PROTON-512) Possibility to set idle timeout for messenger
Date Fri, 25 Apr 2014 11:52:45 GMT
Hi,

I just uploaded two patches which allow to setup idle timeout for whole
messenger.

Regarding this timeout I have noticed that client terminates connection if
nothing is received from broker within given timeout value. But what I was
expecting is that broker will periodically reply with some heartbeat
message.

Is there a way hot to enable heartbeat mechanism between client and a
broker?

Thanks,
Tomas
