Hi David,

Thanks for the answer.  We got around this by the fact that you can add
the same parameter multiple times on a PortletURL object
and it will replace that param with the new value each time (as it says
in the Javadoc).

No, the Portlet API doesn't support this.
Best to just create multiple instances of them as they are not too  
expensive
