To be honest, I don't really understand your question or your problem.
It seems (but I could be understanding this incorrectly), you lost some psml files (or database
definitions)?
I'm not sure, but that seems unlikely accountably to Jetspeed, or you must have encountered
some kind of corruption during writing/modification of psml.
   
Could you please rephrase and more clearly indicate what happened and what exactly the problem
is.
Also, providing some context and environment information (e.g. type of psml storage: file
or db, database used etc.) is important to give us any chance of helping you out.

But note: you're using a (more than a year old) developers snapshot/trunk of Jetspeed which
is always risky to do and it is very difficult for us to help out if it isn't the current
trunk.
