Subject [jira] Commented: (JS2-451) Deploying "simplest" Portlet to Jetspeed-2 fails (Installer Distribution)
Date Wed, 21 Dec 2005 10:48:32 GMT

Ron Kastner commented on JS2-451:
---------------------------------

David, many thanks for your help. This is indeed the cause of the problem.
I did not know that Tomcat can not resolve multiple entries for a class on
the classpath...

Note for Eclipse WTP Developers:
To avoid including the jar in the war-file, I created a "BasePortletProject" that contains
all the jars needed for compilation, and exported them via the "Project-Properties".

The "Simplest" Project now references the "BasePortletProject". So the
Eclipse-Export wizard does not include the jar-files anymore, when exporting the
"Simplest" Project to a war-file.
