The issue is that the JCP process is closed and covered by a NDA so if
David were to send the current status of JSR to this list he would
most certainly violate his NDA :(

The whole process is *designed* to give closed source members a headstart
since they can usually start coding internally while the JSR is still draft
without breaking their commitments... The open community will have
to catch up although I agree that we can already plan and design some of the
new container features just based on the "known" proposals used in the JSR,
ie the current Websphere API...

I assume that this task can start before the final JSR is released. Would
you have news on both JSR progress and related JetSpeed progress.

I have difficulties to find reliable information on the JSR progress...
