Subject [GitHub] incubator-ponymail issue #135: Bug: import-mbox.py does not handle protocol ...

GitHub user sebbASF opened an issue:

    Bug: import-mbox.py does not handle protocol choice well

    import-mbox.py currently allows input from http(s), imap(s) or file.
    However the --source parameter checks are very crude.
    If the parameter begins with '/' or '.', it assumes file:
    If 'h' => http(s)
    If 'i' => imap(s)
    Anything else is silently ignored.
    It would be better to check for http[s]: or imap[s]: and assume anything else is a file.
    It should also check if the parameter is a valid file or a directory to allow import of
a single file.
