Subject [jira] [Commented] (POLYGENE-306) Dynamic Method Annotations at bootstrap

Niclas Hedhman commented on POLYGENE-306:
-----------------------------------------

But I have broken something along the way, as a handful of tests are now totally broken. Reverting
the whole effort and putting this on ice.

One last word; the if(appliesTo) check in org.apache.polygene.runtime.bootstrap.CompositeAssemblyImpl#addConcerns
(and equivalent in addSideEffects) may not be needed after all. Not verified, but suspected.

> Currently we can manipulate types pretty much freely at bootstrap, but we can't add annotations
to methods, which would be useful for instance when working with external types not under
one's control.
> This will need to add metaInfo to Property and add the annotation there, rather than
trying to compile it into the method itself.
