Subject [jira] [Created] (ZEST-61) In Lifecycle.create(), @This can't be used in EntityBuilder's to set non-Optional values.
Date Fri, 10 Jul 2015 10:09:05 GMT
Paul Merlin created ZEST-61:
-------------------------------

Summary: In Lifecycle.create(), @This can't be used in EntityBuilder's to set
non-Optional values.
                 Key: ZEST-61
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZEST-61
             Project: Zest
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 2.0
            Reporter: Paul Merlin
            Assignee: Niclas Hedhman
             Fix For: 2.1

If I create Entity A, and in its LifeCycle.create() method I try to create an Entity B that
needs an association to Entity A, Entity A is not visible to the creation process within the
EntityBuilder.

However, if the Entity B is first created, and then Entity A is assigned to Entity B, that
works. This however, introduces a lot of @Optional in aggregates, when they shouldn't be.
