Your best bet is to unzip the file, and read the xml yourself. Does it 
look sensible? Is there anything strange about it? Are you sure you're 
actually reading the right part of the file? (Web browsers are often 
pretty good at giving a nice way to view xml files, if you don't already 
have a favourite one)
