Get an instance of the formatter then pass in the format index from the cell
style.

Format.html#getFormat(short)

book.html#createDataFormat()

Style.html#getDataFormat()

Subject: data format

Dumb question:

How does one get the data format of an existing cell (ie, excel file
read in by POI) as a string (ie, as '#0.00')

TIA

Avik
