We appreciate it! I've no good way of doing an automated system for sourceforge. For Apache it's rather easy with the mentioned email verification, but anyone can get a sourceforge account. Only apache committers can get an apache account. That being said there are over 700 committers to Apache as a whole and many of them work for IBM and other large companies. I'd suggest select a limited set of projects to which you feel gratitude, grab the committers's names and put them on a list. Not everyone conducts surveys, of course, so understand some folks may not take you up on it. Just my suggestion. For me, your spirited testimonial is thanks enough. It makes it easier to make a case for POI when folks show that the path has been successfully taken by others.
