Just to be clear, I don't maintain the Guthub page with the Scala Pivot
example.

I'm working on a non-trivial hobby project using Pivot.  I'm also
bumping up against Java's limitations all the time, which makes me want
to use Scala.  Unfortunately, the Scala Eclipse plugin is still a little
flaky, so I haven't started writing my app's UI in Scala yet.
