Subject [jira] [Updated] (PHOENIX-4415) Ignore CURRENT_SCN property if set in Pig Storer
Date Thu, 30 Nov 2017 03:25:01 GMT

James Taylor updated PHOENIX-4415:
    Attachment: PHOENIX-4415_v2.patch

Please review v2 of the patch, [~lhofhansl] or [~siddhimehta]. I did modify the Pig tests
so they run with a CURRENT_SCN set (that was the change in BasePigIT). My tests don't pass
with v1, but they do with v2. This version causes only the Pig writer to ignore the CURRENT_SCN.
We can't ignore it across the board because we do set CURRENT_SCN when building an index.

> Phoenix does not support back-in-time writes, so to guard against that we'll remove the
CURRENT_SCN property if it's set in the job configuration in PhoenixHBaseStorage.
