Rajeshbabu Chintaguntla commented on PHOENIX-3496:
--------------------------------------------------

[~jamestaylor] Thanks for reviews.
We store index data in column families in covered indexed columns or default local index column
family in non covered index cases. So changed the logic accordingly.
bq. If you throw ColumnFamilyNotFoundException instead of NoSuchColumnFamilyException then
Phoenix will wrap/unwrap it automatically and you can catch ColumnFamilyNotFoundException
instead of doing this:
Yes it's good one. In the current patch using ColumnFamilyNotFoundException instead of NSCF.

Please review it.

> The test has been passing consistently on the "4.*-HBase-0.98" branches. However, it
has been flapping pretty regularly on the master branch and the "4.*-HBase-1.1" branches.
> I ran the test locally a few number of times and it did flap. I did notice that in cases
where it failed, the logs also had a RegionOpeningException.
> For example:
> {code}
> org.apache.hadoop.hbase.exceptions.RegionOpeningException: Region TEST_TABLET000060,\x07\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00,1479426366023.04f765e5d906bbd193b38a9f8c20e478.
