Subject [jira] [Created] (PHOENIX-3804) Have exponential back-off on frequency of mutable index rebuild running
Date Fri, 21 Apr 2017 19:21:04 GMT
James Taylor created PHOENIX-3804:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Have exponential back-off on frequency of mutable index rebuild running
                 Key: PHOENIX-3804
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-3804
             Project: Phoenix
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: James Taylor

See MetaDataRegionObserver.BuildIndexScheduleTask which uses phoenix.index.failure.handling.rebuild.interval
as the time interval to run the background task to partially rebuild the index. We should
have an exponential back-off for this in the event of a longer outage.
