This is a patch based on master. I only changed ToDateFunction, ToTimeFunction and ToTimestampFunction.
There might be some other functions that require similar changes. [~jamestaylor], could you
please review the interface change? I've run through some date/time tests and they've all
passed. And [~lomoree], could you try changing all other similar built-in functions and make
sure your problem actually goes away? If both are confirmed, I'll open an new JIRA and commit
to master.
