Hey [~ayingshu]. I am working on a patch for this. Will hopefully wrap it up in the next couple
of days. 

FYI, you can even now specify TTL in CREATE TABLE. My patch will be addressing adding hbase
properties in general through ALTER TABLE command. So adding TTL through ALTER TABLE will
be taken care off (you won't need to add any special code for it).
