Are you using a fc9 release candidate?  I didn't think 9 was out yet 
(just upgraded to 7 a month ago :o ).  Looks like the official release 
isn't for another 5 days.

I've got a halfway decent modperl testing vm setup (parallels works but 
it crashes infrequently) so I can test this with the fc9 release when it 
comes out.
