I've had to use this code to get mod_perl working with perl scripts on
my Apache 2 server:

        <Location [location here]>
                SetHandler perl-script
                PerlResponseHandler ModPerl::Registry
                PerlOptions +ParseHeaders
                Options +ExecCGI
