yeah, I think so.

stick with 2.2.0?

really, I fixed this error only to be pelted with another one related to
2.4.0-tobe auth changes (removal of ap_requires).  really, we need a
larger-scale solution/roadmap to deal with httpd-trunk as it undergoes its
current, radical changes.
