	When apache is running "." is the directory of your ServerRoot...
i'm not sure, but it looks like you are putting "database_util.pl" into your
DocumentRoot instead.

	You could do something like;

use Apache2::RequestUtil ();
require $r->document_root . "/database_util.pl";
