Sorry for the Off Topic question...

I have a modperl server connected to my ISP through a 64K leased line
to the ISP, that should be officially openned in the couple of weeks.

The server performs great on the lan, but just seem sluggish from the
Internet.
Sometimes, the browser receives no data for a few seconds, but a simultaneous
ping to the server still works.

I expected that if the system performs well on a lan, it would work
well also
on a slower connection.

The server is Apache 1.3.11 / modperl 1.21 / modssl 2.5.0 on Linux
2.2.11, and
the connection to the ISP is through a Cyclades' PathRouter.

Has anyone seen this kind of problem before... and solved it ?

Thanks for any reply.

Jean-Denis Girard
